About Polpresa Press
Polpresa Press is an independent publisher producing books of general cultural interest. We began in 2011 with
David’s Box – The Journals and Letters of a Man Diagnosed as Schizophrenic, 1960-1971. This book is of great
historical interest as a first hand account of several hospital admissions written on a day by day basis. It continues
to be relevant to current debates about mental health.
